Courses

Herman Beck teaches courses in the field of Religious Studies in general and of Islam in particular, at all levels of academic education at the Department of Religious Studies and Theology.

In addition, he teaches in the minor ‘Studies van de multiculturele samenleving’ [Studies of the Multicultural Society] of the Faculty of Humanities and in the Master’s programme ‘Organizing Cultural Diversity’ of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. His teaching is closely related to his research.

In January 2009, he won the 2008 Best Teacher Award of the Faculty of Humanities.
