Research interests
Herman Beck’s research focuses on the question of whether the increase in the religious diversity of Islam in the Netherlands is accompanied by a shift in the importance attributed to Islam for the individual identity and for the identity of the individual as a member of the Islamic religious community.
This question is explored in two projects
